UPDATE: The closure of the N.C. 87 Business South ramp has been rescheduled, and it will now close on June 4 at 7 p.m. and will reopen on June 5 at 6 a.m.
| SANFORD – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close the N.C. 87 Business South ramp to N.C. 87 next week for road resurfacing. The roadway will close on June 1 at 7 p.m. and will reopen on June 2 at 6 a.m., weather permitting. All southbound traffic on N.C. 87 Business will follow a signed detour to take Harvey Faulk Road to return onto N.C. 87 Business. Drivers should stay alert in work zones and plan ahead.
