A 14-day public comment period is now open and will continue through August 5, 2025, for all proposed project lists under consideration for submission to NCDOT for P8.0 scoring. This includes projects for highways, bike and pedestrian facilities, public transit, rail, and aviation. See the project lists here.
These lists will be consolidated into one draft slate of up to 14 projects each in aviation, bicycle and pedestrian, highway, rail and transit by the RTCC Prioritization sub-Committee. CPRPO’s RTCC will then review and then RTAC will vote on the draft slate at its August 14, 2025 meeting. A public hearing will be held at the RTAC meeting at 12:00 PM in the Buggy Conference Room, 115 Chatham St., Sanford, NC.
