Public comment is invited on the Draft List of Projects at the Regional and Division tier to receive local input points in Lee County and the non-metropolitan parts of Chatham, Moore and Orange counties. The 14-day Public Comment Period will begin July 23rd, 2024, and end on August 6, 2024.
The draft lists and CPRPO’s local input points methodology are posted on the CPRPO’s website. Written comments can be sent by mail or electronically to Karyl Fuller, 4307 Emperor Blvd., Durham, NC 27703 or KFuller@centralpinesnc.gov.
There will be additional Public Involvement events including a Public Workshop and a Public Hearing. The Public Workshop will be held August 6th from 10 AM – 12 PM at Holmes Meeting Room, Chatham Community Library, 197 NC Hwy 87 N, Pittsboro, NC 27312. It will be drop-in, workshop format and include an opportunity for participants to provide written comments and ask questions. Also, there will be a Public Hearing held at the beginning of CPRPO’s TAC meeting on August 8th, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the Buggy Conference Room, 115 Chatham St. (come in the back), Sanford, NC.
