The Central Pines Rural Planning Organization (CPRPO) is a voluntary association of local governments in Chatham, Lee, Moore, and Orange Counties that plans rural transportation systems and advises the NCDOT on rural transportation policy.  CPRPO is administered by the Central Pines Regional Council.

2026 Meeting Schedule  

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the even months. The Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) meets from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM and the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) meets from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM. February, June, and October meetings are typically held in the Pittsboro area; April, August, and December meetings are typically held in the Sanford area.
